Established in Soho in 1984, Littlejohn Contemporary Art relocated to NYC's Fuller Building on 57th Street where it remained for thirteen years before moving to Chelsea in 2011. Beginning January 2019, after 34 years of mounting exhibitions, representing artists, and developing careers, the gallery will morph into a primarily digital presence.

L C A will continue to be an active source of artwork by most of the artists we’ve represented over the years but now mostly in online capacities as well as occasional pop-up shows at various locations. This includes the expanding program of informal salon-style presentations at the home of Jacquie’s sister, Tracy Fauver, in Bedford, NY as well as other venues. Tracy keeps a rotating inventory by select gallery artists to show clients in her area. With a background in fine arts and photography, Tracy spent sixteen years at Ralph Lauren Home in product development, marketing and international licensing, so sees this collaboration as a way to marry her interest in art and interiors. Please call Tracy at 914-471-6980 to make an appointment at her Bedford NY location.

The gallery’s aesthetic presents a variety of genres, including abstraction and allegorical narrative, focusing primarily on painting, drawing, mixed media, and photography by national and international artists—several of whom Littlejohn had shown for over three decades. A primary focus of the gallery is artwork that is inspired by nature. Our artists stand out for the quality of their craft, uniqueness of vision, and thought-provoking contributions to the contemporary art world.

Littlejohn staff will continue to be available to assist you with inquiries and acquisitions. Our website www.littlejohncontemporary.com will be updated often and eblasts sent out periodically with new offerings and events as they occur.
